Cookie Policy
The short version: this site sets no cookies of its own, and nothing optional runs unless you switch it on.
1. What this site does by default
When you open 3sholding.net, no cookie is set and no analytics or advertising script is loaded. The site is built so that it does not need any: there are no third-party fonts, no external content delivery network, no embedded video, no social-media widgets and no tracking pixels. Everything the page needs comes from this domain.
Before any measurement code could run, the page loads a small script that sets Microsoft’s consent signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage — to denied. That is Microsoft Consent Mode v2, and denying by default is the point of it.
2. The one thing we store without asking
Your own consent decision. It is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and it is not transmitted to us. Storing it is strictly necessary in the ordinary sense of the word: the alternative is asking you the same question on every page, which is worse for you and no better for your privacy.
3. What happens if you say yes
If you switch measurement on, we load Microsoft Advertising’s UET tag, which sets the cookies listed below and tells us whether an advertisement led to an enquiry. It does not read your e-mail, your files or your activity on other sites beyond what Microsoft’s own advertising services do under their privacy statement.
At the time of writing no tag identifier is configured on this site, so the tag would not load even if you consented. This section describes what would happen once one is, and your stored choice will be respected when that day comes.
Inventory
Everything that can be stored in your browser
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3sh.consent.v1 | Local storage (not a cookie) | This website | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected measurement, and when. Without it you would be asked on every page. | Until you clear your browser’s site data | Strictly necessary |
| _uetsid, _uetvid | Cookies | Microsoft Advertising (bat.bing.com) — only after you consent | Recognises a browsing session and a returning browser so that an enquiry can be attributed to an advertisement. Not loaded unless you switch measurement on. | _uetsid: 1 day · _uetvid: 13 months (as set by Microsoft) | Analytics and advertising measurement — optional |
This table is the complete list. If you find something stored by this site that is not on it, that is a bug — please tell us and we will fix the site or the table, whichever is wrong.
4. Changing your mind
You can change your choice at any time, and withdrawal is exactly as easy as consent: . The same link is in the footer of every page. Switching measurement off stops it immediately and sends a denied consent signal.
You can also clear your browser’s site data for this domain, which removes the stored decision entirely and returns the site to its default state — nothing loaded, nothing stored, and you will be asked again on your next visit.
5. Browser-level controls
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data, and offers a private-browsing mode that discards them when you close the window. Blocking storage entirely will not break this site; you will simply be asked about measurement on each visit, because we have nowhere to record that you already answered.
6. Related policies
How we handle personal data generally, including the international transfer involved in hosting this site, is set out in our Privacy Policy. The terms of use are in our Terms of Service.
